Teacher Carol is Accustomed to Climbing Coconut Trees

Teacher Carol, who prepared the rope for the flag ceremony that day, explained in an interview that she has been accustomed to climbing coconut trees since childhood, making the task manageable for her.

She chose to climb the flagpole herself to ensure the children wouldn’t be exposed to the risks.

Her dedication extends beyond this feat, as she travels approximately 14 kilometers daily to reach her school.
