Pinoy Pride: Filipino NAS Paddlers Win Gold at US Open Table Tennis Championships [Pagpupugay]

The National Academy of Sports, also known as NAS, sent student athletes in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas, United States of America, for an international event.

The Filipino NAS Paddlers win gold at US Open Table Tennis Championships, a feat recognized and commended by the education department.

Filipinos Win at International Table Tennis Tilt

NAS Paddlers Khevine Khieth Isoy Cruz and, Liam Zion Cabalu won in the Under-13 Boys Doubles Event US Open Table Tennis Championships held in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas, United States of America held last Dec 16 – 21, 2024.

They are joined by Ghianne Cordova, Angel Nueva, Alexa Gan and Maria Angelli Cruz who won in their respective categories.

NAS celebrated the achievements of NAS Paddlers through the guidance and mentorship of Coach Karen C. Jaleco, Program Head Table Tennis in the US Open Table Tennis Championships.

DepEd Recognizes PH Win at US Open Table Tennis Championships

DepEd Philippines recognized the achievement of the gold medalists who brought the Filipino pride.

“Pagbati sa ating young paddlers na sina Khevine Khieth Cruz at Zion Cabalu mula National Academy of Sports (NAS) na nag-uwi ng ginto sa Under 13 Boys Doubles Event sa US Open Table Tennis Championships na ginanap sa Las Vegas, USA noong December 16-21, 2024. 🏓🏆,” it can be read on their Facebook post.

“Maraming salamat sa pagpapatunay sa galing at husay ng atletang Pilipino sa mundo. Pagpupugay! 👏”
